Terms and Conditions for Spine and Core Synergy
Your Agreement with Us
These terms and conditions govern your use of our services and website at Spine and Core Synergy. By booking an appointment, purchasing a membership, or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding.
These terms were last updated on 14/09/2025 and may be modified from time to time. Clients will be notified of significant changes. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any updated terms.
Individual Treatment Services
Booking and Appointments
- Advance Booking: All appointments must be booked in advance and are subject to availability
- Cancellation Policy: 24-hour notice is required for cancellations to avoid charges
- Late Arrivals: Please arrive at least 5 minutes early. Late arrivals may result in shortened treatment time
- Payment: Payment is due at the time of service unless prior arrangements are made
Initial Consultations
All new clients require a comprehensive initial consultation before treatment. This includes completing a health questionnaire and assessment to ensure appropriate care and treatment planning.
APPI Pilates Classes - Monthly Membership Terms
Membership Options and Booking
Classes are available on a monthly membership basis operating 47 weeks per year (excluding bank holidays and term breaks). Monthly direct debit is calculated on 42 weeks per year, with 10 weeks of holidays communicated in advance.
- Option 1: One clinical class per week - £50 per month
- Option 2: Two clinical classes per week - £80 per month
- Membership Changes: You may adjust between one and two sessions per week by giving one month's notice via email to spineandcore@gmail.com
- Joining Process: All members must contact spineandcore@gmail.com to set up membership, complete a health questionnaire, and non-existing patients require an assessment before confirming class availability
Payment Policy
- Payment Method: Monthly payments are made online via our payment system, managed by Stripe
- Payment Date: Payments are automatically taken from your registered card every month on the same date
- Contract Terms: Monthly memberships have a one-month minimum contract. After this, one month's notice must be given to cancel via email or letter
- Auto-Renewal: Memberships automatically renew after 12 months
- Refunds: All payments and programs are non-refundable, except in cases of medical emergencies
Class Attendance and Credits
- Cancellations: If you cannot attend a booked class, you may cancel and use the credit for another session
- Unused Credits: Credits within the month will not roll over; however, online classes may be provided to cover missed sessions where possible
- No-Shows: Members who fail to attend without cancelling will forfeit that session and associated payment
- Class Cancellations by Us: Classes may only be cancelled in extenuating circumstances. You will retain your credit or be offered an online class
Class Etiquette and Safety Requirements
- Punctuality: Classes start on time. Please arrive at least 5 minutes early. Late arrivals may not be admitted
- Equipment: Clients must bring their own mats. Small equipment will be supplied. We are not responsible for loss, damage, or accidents caused by personal equipment
- Attire: Please wear close-fitting, unrestrictive clothing to allow proper movement observation and guidance. Bare feet or socks are acceptable
- Mobile Phones: Must be off or on silent during class
- Health Updates: You must inform your instructor of any health changes or conditions affecting your ability to exercise before class
Professional Standards and Treatment
Qualifications and Standards
All treatments are provided by qualified healthcare professionals registered with appropriate regulatory bodies (HCPC for physiotherapists, GCC for chiropractors). All Pilates instructors are qualified to Level 3 mat work and APPI clinical Pilates standards. We maintain professional standards in accordance with industry guidelines and consumer rights legislation.
Health and Safety
- Medical Disclosure: You must disclose relevant medical history and current health conditions before treatment or class participation
- Healthcare Consultation: Consult a healthcare professional if you have any medical conditions or injuries before attending classes or treatments
- Personal Responsibility: Exercise at a pace appropriate for you, listen to your body, and stop if you feel discomfort
- Immediate Reporting: Inform your practitioner or instructor immediately if any issues arise during treatment or classes
Liability and Risk
Treatment Outcomes and Liability
Participation in all treatments and classes is at your own risk. Treatment outcomes cannot be guaranteed and may vary between individuals. You agree not to hold the practitioners liable for injury, provided treatments and classes are delivered with reasonable care and skill in accordance with professional standards.
- Professional Insurance: We maintain professional indemnity insurance through Balens or equivalent for all services provided
- Liability Limitation: Our liability is limited to the cost of the treatment or service provided
- Consumer Rights: All services are delivered in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015
Data Protection and Privacy
GDPR Compliance
Your personal information and email will only be used for treatment records, class communication, and scheduling purposes. We comply with GDPR requirements and will not share your information with third parties without consent, except where required by law.
Photography and Promotion
Photos may be taken during classes and treatments for advertising or promotional purposes only. Please inform us if you do not wish to be photographed.
Accessibility
Please inform us of any accessibility requirements to ensure we can support your safe participation in treatments and classes.
Governing Law
